Beth Hickey is a dedicated educator from Ireland with a rich background in teaching and a passion for fostering student growth and development. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree (BA) from University College Dublin, and a Master of Education – Primary (MA) from Hibernia College, Ireland. Beth moved to the UAE in 2021 and has been teaching Year 1 children for the past three years. Prior to her tenure in the UAE, Beth gained valuable experience as a learning support teacher in Ireland, where she worked diligently to provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs.
Her experience includes serving as a subject lead for English and Phonics. She has a deep care and understanding of the importance of early literacy development, ensuring to effectively nurture young learners’ foundational skills and foster a lifelong love for reading and learning.
In her spare time, Beth enjoys reading and various outdoor activities such as walking and hiking. She has a keen interest in exploring different cultures and countries, bringing a global outlook to her classroom. Beth is committed to working collaboratively with parents and students to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. She believes that, together, they can create a supportive and enriching educational journey for all students.
