From the moment families join Bloom World Academy, we are committed to cultivating a strong sense of community and belonging. Our channels of communication remain consistently open and responsive: parents are welcome on campus anytime through our Open Door Policy, and the school strives to schedule prompt meetings whenever requested. Weekly Community Forums, school-wide productions, exhibitions, performances, and sporting occasions offer natural touchpoints for families to experience school life firsthand.

To equip families with the knowledge and confidence to support their child’s learning, we host weekly parent workshops, both in-person and online, focused on areas such as understanding the IB curriculum, learning strategies, developmental milestones, and broader educational pathways.

Through these layered practices—personalized academic partnerships, open interaction, structured workshops, an active parent community, and formal governance involvement—we transform “parent participation” into parental partnership. This depth of connection has been shown in educational research to support children’s academic growth, emotional well‑being, and long‑term school engagement. BWA’s model emphasizes belonging, empowerment, and transparency, ensuring every family feels welcome, valued, and fully integrated from day one.

At Bloom World Academy’s Primo Early Years Centre, we adopt a holistic, fully immersive English‑language approach that enables children to acquire English naturally, contextually, and joyfully. Grounded in the EYFS framework, our programme embeds Communication & Language development across every day and every activity—be it through child-guided exploration, small-group direct teaching, and specialist EAL support for non-native speakers.

Our purpose-built Primo environment—featuring creative learning zones like paint‑splash rooms, water features, labs, and art spaces—encourages authentic use of language in real-life contexts. Children speak, ask, narrate, collaborate, and listen as they learn, helping them to progress without pressure.

In tandem, structured small-group sessions build early literacy, vocabulary, and phonological awareness, while highly attentive teachers nurture confidence and curiosity. Emotional well‑being is integral: secure relationships, safe spaces, and purposeful routines support language acquisition across all domains.

Finally, our Learning Achievement Passports (LAPs) bring parents into the language learning journey. Updated each half term, these celebrate English milestones and plan future language targets together, ensuring that by the time children transition into Junior School, they are comfortable, confident, and curriculum-ready in English.

Our teachers know each of their students very well as individuals and plan learning opportunities which follow their students’ interests to ensure high levels of motivation and engagement.

Our specially designed Early Years Centre, Primo, promotes creativity, problem solving and physical development both indoors and outdoors. Specialist teaching in music, outdoor learning and physical education enhances the broad Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum on offer.

The personal, social and emotional development of our students is at the heart of everything we do. A child who feels secure and happy at school is a child who is open to opportunities for learning.
