Vanessa Campbell is a passionate teacher who has lived in the UAE for over 13 years. She holds dual citizenship in both Canada and the United States of America, and she speaks both French and English.
Since beginning her teaching career in San Diego, California, in 2007, she has developed a passion for teaching primary students but has experience educating students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade Six. Mrs. Campbell has a Bachelor of Science in Primary Education from Liberty University (USA) and a double major Master of Arts in the Teaching of Languages (French & TESOL – Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Southern Mississippi (USA).
Vanessa’s teaching is a holistic experience for those in her charge, ensuring student-centred and inquiry-based learning. She holds a high regard for the International Baccalaureate programmes and is a graduate of the DP programme at Old Scona Academic High School (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada). While she is not busy creating extraordinary experiences for her students, you can find her acting as an Uber driver for her son, travelling, practising her Spanish language skills, or baking unbelievably scrumptious cookies, cakes and pastries!
