Rosalyn Han is a seasoned primary and secondary educator with more than 15 years of expertise. Originally from the United States, she began her teaching career in Northern Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C., and relocated to the UAE in 2016. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, with a specialization in Multilingual and Multicultural Education, from George Mason University. As a lifelong learner, Rosalyn is currently advancing her academic qualifications by pursuing a Doctor of Education in Leadership in Schooling at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Raised in a Korean-speaking household, Rosalyn has since developed proficiency in Spanish and is actively learning Emirati Arabic. Her diverse linguistic and cultural experiences enhance her ability to connect with students and families. She is dedicated to supporting students in their language acquisition journeys and helping them become confident and effective communicators.
Beyond her professional commitments, Rosalyn enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, and ballroom dancing. She enthusiastically seeks out new experiences and cultivates connections through networking. An avid traveler and foodie, she eagerly explores unfamiliar dining venues, especially hidden culinary gems. Rosalyn would be delighted to receive recommendations for exceptional eateries.
