Amina Ahmed

Amina Ahmed is a distinguished Mathematics educator and senior leader in the UK, with over 11 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and school improvement. She currently serves as Trust Director of Mathematics and Assistant Principal at Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust, where she leads on Mathematics strategy and whole-school operations.

Amina holds a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and a PGCE from the University of Warwick. Her career includes roles as Lead Practitioner, Subject Leader, and Assistant Principal, where she has consistently championed academic excellence, curriculum innovation and enrichment opportunities.

She has led the integration of educational technology, flipped learning pedagogy, and AI-enabled data systems to enhance teaching and reduce staff workload. Amina is deeply committed to evidence-informed practice, professional development, and fostering inclusive, high-performing learning environments.

In August 2025, Amina will relocate to the United Arab Emirates with her husband and their two dogs, Ralph and Poppy. Outside of work, she enjoys gym classes, fashion, spending time outdoors, and cooking curries.
