Rachel Cox has 20 years experience as a teacher in the UK and overseas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Southampton and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the University of Worcester.
She has taught in IB World Schools in Singapore, Cambodia, America and the UAE. She is a firm believer in the IB’s focus on holisitic development, international-mindedness and student centred learning. Having worked in both the Middle Years and Diploma Programmes as an English A and B Teacher/Head of Department, TOK Teacher/Coordinator, Extended Essay Supervisor and CAS Coordinator, she has an excellent understanding of all facets of the programmes.
Rachel moved to Dubai with her husband and two sons in 2023. She enjoys Dubai rich arts and cultural scene as well as hiking and snorkelling in the winter months.
