Annam brings over 10 years of experience in education, specialising in Design Technology and STEM. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Design Technology with a major in Mechanical Engineering from the Bahrain Polytechnic/University of Bahrain and is currently pursuing a TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training. She is also a STEM.org–certified Master Trainer, reflecting her commitment to high-quality, future-focused learning.
Currently working as an MYP Design Teacher, Annam has previously served as the Head of Innovation and Technology for a whole school and as a Well-being Champion. Having lived and worked in the UAE for the past 10 years, she brings a strong sense of international-mindedness and cultural understanding to her classroom.
Annam is a passionate robotics coach at both national and international levels, with several award-winning teams under her guidance. She believes deeply in inquiry-based learning, design thinking, student agency, and real-world problem solving. Her aim is to help students see learning as meaningful, empowering them to become future-ready individuals who innovate with purpose and confidence beyond the classroom.
Outside of school, Annam is a proud mother of three. She loves spending time with her family and finds joy in cooking and bringing people together over good food, believing that connection and community are at the heart of meaningful learning and life.
