Graham Walmsley

Following a successful decade in British education, Graham relocated to Dubai to begin his international education journey. Over the past 14 years, he has held a range of senior leadership positions within leading Dubai schools, including serving as Head of Primary for five years at a well-established IB World School. He currently serves as Vice Principal at Bloom World Academy, where he leads Enrichment & Operations.

Graham is passionate about developing high-performing teams, empowering others to lead, and creating school cultures where both students and staff can thrive. He believes that outstanding schools are built on strong relationships, trust, and a shared commitment to continuous improvement. He champions innovative, future-focused education that provides students with diverse and meaningful pathways for success, whether in academics, the arts, sport, entrepreneurship, technology, or personal development.

A firm believer in the power of holistic education, Graham is committed to ensuring every student feels known, valued, and inspired to achieve their personal best. He is particularly interested in wellbeing, student voice, leadership development, and creating opportunities that prepare young people for an ever-changing world.

Outside of school, Graham is a proud husband and father. Family plays a central role in his life, and he enjoys supporting his children in their sporting and academic pursuits. In his spare time, he enjoys endurance sport, regularly training for various sporting events and embracing the challenge of continuous personal growth both inside and outside the workplace.
