Emily Scudamore

Emily Scudamore has 19 years’ experience delivering Physical Education, Health, and Well-being at a UK state school. She graduated with a BSC Hons in Sports Coaching and Postgraduate in Education from University of Wales Institute Cardiff.
Emily is an outstanding practitioner that is driven and motivated to inspire future generations. She has led a faculty of 10 practitioners as well as additional whole school responsibilities. Her vision as a practitioner is to ensure all students are able to experience a sense of lifelong learning and value the importance of physical education and well-being.
Physical Education and Sport provides opportunities to allow every child to experience success, a sense of belonging as well as enhancing social, emotional, and physical well-being, which will only encourage children to thrive successfully throughout their education. The link between well-being, aspirations and attainment are paramount in the success of ensuring all students have personalised pathways that create opportunities for successful futures. Inclusive opportunities are essential for all children, this will in turn enable and encourage habitual lifestyle choices that will promote the well-being of the whole school and the wider community.
Emily is an advocate for health, well-being and fitness as an international hockey player, county representative for netball and athletics, as well as Level 1 gymnastics, trampoline and yoga coach. Her current interests and hobbies include yoga, meditation and CrossFit.
