Amy is a dedicated and passionate teacher with six years of experience. She grew up in the beautiful countryside of Southwest England and completed her teacher training at Plymouth Marjon University. After teaching in London and Somerset, Amy moved to Dubai last year to further develop her teaching career in a new cultural environment.
Amy’s classroom is a creative and dynamic space where each child is encouraged to grow at their own pace. She believes in the importance of kindness and inclusivity, ensuring that every student feels valued and supported. With a passion for yoga, sports, dance and music, Amy incorporates these interests into her teaching, helping students explore and develop their own passions.
She is a strong advocate for the PYP’s emphasis on international-mindedness and independent inquiry, empowering students to connect their learning to the real world and take meaningful action. Amy believes that every child deserves a champion—someone who will never give up on them and who will help them reach their full potential.
Outside the classroom, Amy loves to travel, hike and paddleboard. She brings this sense of adventure and curiosity into her teaching, inspiring her students to be open-minded and eager to explore new ideas. Amy is committed to creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
