Ben Pointer is a dedicated and experienced mathematics educator from the United Kingdom, with over 10 years of teaching experience across grades 5 to 12. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA Hons) in KS2/3 Mathematics Education from the University of Brighton. Ben has a strong background in teaching mathematics according to the British Curriculum.

Ben believes that mathematics is best learned by doing, rather than by simply listening or watching. He emphasizes active participation in his lessons, encouraging students to guide their own learning towards deeper understanding. This student-centered approach fosters a more engaging and effective learning environment.

In his previous school, Ben served as Head of Year 7 and was the lead on KS2/3 Transition for the past three years, showcasing his leadership and commitment to educational development.

In 2016, Ben moved to Dubai, where he met his now wife. They have since adopted two cats and enjoy their life together in the vibrant city. Outside of his professional life, Ben enjoys playing football and padel, engaging in these sports for fun and relaxation.
