Eleanor Bull lived in Essex her entire life with the aspiration to become an English teacher for as long as she can remember. Moving seamlessly from school to college and straight into the University of Essex for three years, her deep love for the subject flourished, fuelling her desire to share that enthusiasm with young people even more.
She went on to earn a First-Class Honours degree in English Language and Literature, even receiving a prestigious university award for her dissertation on international dialect, which is currently in the process of international publication. To get into the classroom as quickly as possible, Eleanor went straight on to complete her PGCE and QTS at the University of Suffolk.
Eleanor believes that teaching is about more than academics; it is about nurturing confidence and ensuring every individual thrives both inside and outside the classroom. This has been widely recognised resulting in her receiving the Pearson National Teaching Award: Outstanding Teacher of the Year, 2026.
Outside of school, you’ll find Eleanor lost in a book, exercising, spending time with her family, or exploring new cultures— especially trying new foods! She is incredibly excited to bring her energy and love for learning to the students at Bloom World Academy.
