Gizelle De Ru is a South African educator born in Johannesburg, with over eleven years of teaching experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of South Africa and recently completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Edgewood University in Wisconsin, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning.
Having called Cape Town home, Gizelle made the move to the UAE in 2022, where she has embraced a variety of roles and flourished within the region’s vibrant educational community.
Outside the classroom, Gizelle is a proud and devoted mother to her newborn baby boy. She loves spending time with her family outdoors, has a passion for reading and photography, and is always up for a new adventure.
Gizelle believes every student deserves an educator who sees their potential and nurtures it with genuine care.
