Jennifer McGowan is an experienced educator with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Winona State University in Minnesota, USA. With over 20 years of international teaching experience, she brings a wealth of global perspective and dedication to student learning. Jennifer spent 19 years teaching in Luxembourg before moving to the UAE, where she has spent the last two years teaching at another school in Dubai.
Her teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in student-centered, inquiry-based learning, where students are encouraged to explore, question, and take ownership of their education. Jennifer believes in creating a classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning.
Outside of the classroom, Jennifer leads a full and vibrant life centered around her three teenage children. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and discovering new cultures—experiences she often weaves into her teaching to bring real-world connections to the classroom.
Jennifer is thrilled to join the Bloom World Academy community, both as a teacher and a parent. She looks forward to building strong partnerships with families and supporting every student’s unique journey. Her key message to parents and students: “Learning should be holistic, inclusive, and designed for every child to thrive.”
