Kevin Piouslin is a dedicated Mathematics educator who brings both academic excellence and real-world insight into his teaching. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics and a PGCE from the University of Birmingham. Before becoming a teacher, he worked as a financial analyst, which gave him a unique perspective on the practical applications of Mathematics – something he now incorporates into his lessons to make the subject more relevant and engaging for his students.

Kevin has taught in England and Kuwait, working with students from different backgrounds and abilities. In August, he will take on his new role as Lead Practitioner of Mathematics at Bloom World Academy, where he hopes to inspire students by showing them how Mathematics connects to the world around them.

His teaching philosophy centers on creating lessons that cater to different learning styles, ensuring every student feels challenged, supported, and excited to learn. He is passionate about helping students see the beauty in Mathematics – not just as numbers and formulas, but as a way to solve problems, think critically, and understand the world in a deeper way.

Outside the classroom, Kevin enjoys strategy games like chess, where he can apply logical thinking and problem solving. He also has a passion for badminton, having competed at the university level. Beyond academics and sports, Kevin loves traveling and exploring new cultures. He is excited to join the Bloom World Academy community and looks forward to inspiring students both in and outside the classroom.
