Marta Lacoma is a passionate and dedicated Spanish teacher with over eight years of teaching experience. Originally from Spain, she holds a degree in Education with a major in teaching foreign languages from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, and has specialised in delivering high-quality language instruction to diverse student populations.

Marta has taught Spanish in Finland, Singapore, Spain, and Dubai, gaining valuable international experience and a strong understanding of multicultural learning environments. For the past four years, she has been living and working in the United Arab Emirates, teaching within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.

She has a deep love for languages and is fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and Italian. She is currently learning Arabic, further enriching her connection to the region and her students. Marta uses her multilingual skills to foster communication and cultural appreciation in the classroom.

She is enthusiastic about language acquisition and intercultural learning, and she strives to make her Spanish classes both engaging and meaningful. In her free time, Marta enjoys traveling — her favourite hobby — and has visited over 30 countries. She also loves reading, exploring different cultures, learning new languages, and spending time outdoors.

She believes in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
