Rosa Mendoza completed her Bachelor´s Degree in Music at the University of Havana, Cuba. She completed her accreditation as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the well-known Cervantes institute in Salamanca, Spain and recently she completed her TQUK Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training.
Rosa has been teaching in the UAE for the past 10 years bringing to different schools individual instrumental lessons such as: Piano, Voice, Oboe, Saxophone, Theory, Ukelele and group lessons for different ages. Her innovative approach to music education and integrating traditional techniques with modern digital tools, quickly earned her recognition. Her Spanish classes are equally renowned for their immersive and interactive methods, designed to engage students and foster a deep appreciation for Hispanic culture. Throughout her career in the UAE, she has been organising performances that highlight the rich traditions of both Spanish and Middle Eastern cultures. Her contributions extend beyond the classroom, as she has been involved in curriculum development helping to shape the educational landscape in the region.
Rosa Mendoza has been an active member of music festivals and community orchestras in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Her diverse musical background includes Samba ensembles, Woodwind Quartets, Latin music, African Drumming, and European Folk ensembles.
