Tania Loungani is an experienced and passionate educator originally from New York, who has called Dubai home for over 20 years. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and a Master of Education (MEd) from the American University in Dubai, combining strong pedagogical knowledge with a creative, design-driven approach to teaching and learning.
Tania has extensive experience teaching in both homeroom and inclusion settings, where she has worked closely with diverse learners to create supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environments. She believes every child brings unique strengths and perspectives to the classroom and is committed to ensuring students feel valued, confident, and empowered to succeed. Her work with students across a range of learning needs has strengthened her ability to differentiate instruction and foster a culture of empathy, respect, and collaboration.
With a background in art and design, Tania’s teaching philosophy emphasises curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity across all subject areas. She encourages meaningful inquiry and real-world connections, helping students develop problem-solving skills and a genuine love of learning.
Outside the classroom, Tania is a proud mother of two teenagers and enjoys reading, creating art, and spending time with her family.
