Yacob Siadatan is a British and Italian educator with a strong academic background in Mathematics and a passion for inspiring students to achieve their full potential. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with Actuarial Science from the University of Southampton, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), also from the University of Southampton. Yacob has three years of teaching experience, during which he has developed a clear, structured, and student-centred approach to teaching mathematics.
Yacob believes that mathematics should be both accessible and challenging, encouraging students to think critically, develop confidence, and apply their learning to real-world contexts. He is committed to creating a supportive classroom environment where high expectations are paired with encouragement and individual guidance.
Having recently relocated to the UAE, Yacob is excited to be part of a diverse and international school community. Outside the classroom, his interests include playing padel, chess, strength training at the gym, and professional photography, all of which reflect his appreciation for discipline, strategy, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Yacob’s message to students and parents is that success is built through consistency, curiosity, and resilience. He looks forward to working in partnership with families to support students academically and personally as confident, motivated learners.
